Based in Toronto, she has been operating businesses in the study abroad and education sector for over 15 years. As the Representative of MYNDS Inc., she supports study abroad arrangements, works closely with educational institutions, and assists students and working professionals in making informed career-related decisions, while also overseeing all aspects of small business operations.

She has additionally gained hands-on experience managing operations in British Columbia and Quebec, building organizational structures and making strategic decisions within differing provincial systems and market environments.

At Shinkikai, she contributes to organizational management and board-level decision-making, drawing on her extensive practical experience.

Based in Toronto, she has been involved in the food and beverage industry for many years as a restaurant owner, building hands-on experience in connecting people through food. As the founder and director of Mystique Company, a consulting firm supporting small businesses, she has been engaged in restaurant launches and operations, while working closely with business owners to improve sustainability and day-to-day operations from a practical, on-the-ground perspective. In recent years, her work has expanded beyond the food and beverage sector to include salons, retail businesses, and other industries. Through this broader engagement, she provides practical, experience-based advice on management and operations from the standpoint of small business owners. At Shinkikai, she serves as a member of the Board of Directors, contributing to the organization’s operations by drawing on her experience working closely with local communities and business owners.

Director: Toshiaki(Don)Suzuki

理事‐Toshiaki(Don) Suzuki

Based in Toronto, he has practiced Tokyo-style shiatsu and acupuncture for over 30 years. As the founder of Tokyo Shiatsu Clinic Group, he has provided traditional Eastern medicine techniques to local communities in Canada, developing extensive practical knowledge and experience in treating chronic pain and physical conditions.

He also serves as President of the Japanese Shiatsu and Holistic Medicine Society of Canada, contributing to collaboration within the professional community. Drawing on this background, he is involved in the management and governance of Shinkikai as a member of its Board of Directors.

Director: Tetsuro Saeki

理事‐Tetsuro Saeki

After graduating from Sophia University, he began his career at Sumitomo Bank before relocating to Canada. He studied accounting at the University of British Columbia and became a Chartered Professional Accountant at PwC.

As an Audit Partner in both the Vancouver and Toronto offices, he led audit and consulting engagements for Japanese and Canadian companies. After retiring from public accounting, he now provides independent accounting and tax advisory services.

At Shinkikai, he supports small business owners by sharing practical accounting knowledge through seminars and one-on-one consultations.

Director: Hiromi Noguchi

Based in Toronto, she works as a paralegal with a primary focus on family law. She has built practical experience handling legal procedures closely related to everyday life, including divorce and family-related matters, in accordance with the Canadian legal system.

At Shinkikai, she contributes to the organization’s management as a member of the Board of Directors, drawing on her legal expertise to help create an environment in which members can participate and operate with confidence.

Director: Hiroyoshi Okawa

Born in Japan. After studying accounting at a college in Toronto, he continued his education at the University of Toronto. Following graduation, he worked as a junior accountant at an accounting firm in Vancouver. He later returned to Toronto and started his own business. He is currently engaged in consulting work.

He provides support to individuals coming from Japan who face various challenges or issues in Toronto, as well as to those starting new businesses. His services extend to both individuals and corporations. Drawing on practical business experience, he offers effective and grounded advice. He is also actively involved in supporting the community through SHINKI-KAI.
